WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team is sending a group of throwers to the Walsh Tune-Up Meet hosted by Walsh University on Thursday.
The Schedule: Throws events begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The Teams: The Quakers will be joined by a plethora of collegiate talent.
The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.
Who to Watch: A contingent of the WC throws team - JJ Durr, Andrew Pacifico, Joe Shuga, Luke Pennington, Blake Jamison and Nathan Borgan - will compete on Thursday.
