WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team takes on the Marv Frye Invitational for the second week of action this outdoor season. The forecast is freezing, but the Quaker squad is coming off of some hot performances last weekend. 

The Schedule: Hammer throw starts the day off for field events at 9:00 AM with steeplechase getting track events started at 12:30 PM.

The Teams: The Quakers will be joined by a plethora of collegiate talent.

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 24th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: The hammer throw squad of Joe Shuga, Andrew Pacifico, Justin Shuga, JJ Durr, Nathan Borgan and Nate Marcum are all top 10 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) as they enter this weekend. Chas O'Connell is listed in the top 5 in javelin this meet as he looks to open up his season. George Rickett (3,000-meter steeplechase) and Simon Heys (1500-meter run) are number one in the meet in their respective races.
