Burnam Second in 400-Hurdles for Men's Track & Field at Kentucky

RESULTS

LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Senior Pierce Burnam earned runner-up honors in the 400-meter hurdles highlighting the Wilmington College men's track & field team's performance at the University of Kentucky Relays on Saturday.

Burnam finished the event in 53.34 seconds, less than two-tenths of a second behind the winner, Hunter Miniard from the University of the Cumberlands. Senior Kalvin Butts finished third in the hammer throw with a heave of 54.87 meters (180' 0") while also earning a fifth-place finish in the discus with a mark of 43.86 meters (143' 11").

Wilmington has next weekend off before traveling to Delaware, Ohio, for the Great Lakes Regional Qualifier hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
