AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Wilmington College men's track & field senior Antone Truss has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
Truss won the high jump at the All-Ohio Meet hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, jumping a mark of 2.10 meters (6' 10 3/4") to finish just one centimeter off the meet record. Additionally, Truss's jump currently sits him fourth in all of NCAA Division III in the event.
Truss also placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.43 meters (21' 1 1/4").
Wilmington travels to the Jesse Owens Invitational on Friday.
