ALLIANCE- The Wilmington College men's track and field team competed at a Last Chance Meet hosted by the University of Mount Union Saturday. The meet was not scored, allowing athletes one last, non-pressured, attempt at their events prior to Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Junior Antone Truss (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) brought home the highest-place finish for the Fightin' Quakers over the course of the meet. Truss earned a second-place finish by clearing a height of 1.97-meters in the high jump.
- Truss was joined by freshman teammate Kaner Butler (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) for the triple jump. The pair finished fifth and third respectively. Their respective jumps were 11.90-meters and 12.20-meters.
- Butler brought home another high-place finish for the Fightin' Quakers, this one in the 500-meter dash. He finished fourth with a time of 1:12.62.

In the one-mile run, junior Griffin Stith (Batavia, OH/Batavia) crossed the finish line in 4:45.47 for fourth.
