Men's Swimming Travels to JCU Saturday in Finale Tuneup Before OAC Championships

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team heads to John Carroll University for an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday. It's the Fightin' Quakers' final tune up before hosting the OAC Championships on Feb. 14-16.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: In Wilmington's dual meet against the University of Mount Union last weekend, Frederick Rankin won the 100-meter breaststroke (1:10.48) and the 200-meter IM (2:29.53) as well as claiming runner-up honors in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:40.98). He also teamed up with Daya, Isak Alin and Logan Schroer to win the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:55.46.
