WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team kicks off the New Year with a dual meet at Manchester University on Saturday afternoon. The meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.
Who to Watch: At the Wilmington's last meet, the Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) on Nov. 18, 2018, Isak Alin broke the program record in the 100-yard IM (55.11). Frederick Rankin, who's once been named the OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, swam a time of 4:44.62 in the 400-yard IM at OWU.
