Men's Swimming Travels to Mount Union

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's swimming team is back in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action Saturday with a dual meet against Mount Union.

The Teams: Wilmington and Mount Union. This is the first meeting between the two teams this year. Their last was at the OAC Championship Meet in February of last year where Mount Union finished slightly ahead of Wilmington, in third-place, to Wilmington's fourth.

The Coaches: Trip Breen enters his 19th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recent in the 2016-17 season. Eric Mojock is in his 11th season as head men's and women's swimming coach at Mount Union.

Who to Watch: Frederick Rankin claimed two, individual first-place finishes at WC's last meet and will look to come out on top again in the breaststroke and IM events. David Bellus, similarly, will look to keep his reign in the butterfly events. Cody Nash will search for success in the distance freestyle events, as well the breaststroke events. Mount Union brings sprint strokers Logan Palochak and Tyler Fry to the mix. They will also field divers.
