ADA – Senior Mason Harris and sophomore David Spraul combined to win four of Wilmington's five events as the Fightin' Quakers fell to Ohio Northern Friday, 114-91, in Ohio Athletic Conference.

"It's a tale of little things," said Wilmington head coach Trip Breen. "I am really pleased with the way we swam and in the grand scheme of things, the little things are easier to fix. Both teams did a great job. However, we have to get better before next week."

Harris (Westerville, OH/Central) was victorious in the 1,000 freestyle (10:20.47) and the 500 freestyle (5:02.94). The senior distance swimmer has won all four individual races this season.

"Mason never fails to show his toughness," said Breen. "He has an incredible will to win. He put forth two great races and showed his senior leadership."

Spraul (Cincinnati, OH/Princeton) claimed wins in the 200 freestyle (1:51.21) and 100 backstroke (54.87), establishing in-season bests in both events. Junior David Hawk (Edison, OH/Mount Gilead) recorded the only other Wilmington victory, winning the 100 freestyle (49.50). He added a second place finish in the 50 freestyle (22.46).

Wilmington returns to the pool 1 p.m. November 8 in a tri-meet at Transylvania with Wittenberg.
