Elorm Dogbey Earns Second Team All-Region Honors From United Soccer Coaches

UNITED SOCCER COACHES ALL-REGION TEAMS

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Wilmington College fifth-year senior Elorm Dogbey represented the Wilmington College men's soccer contingent on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams. The organization released its All-Region teams on Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Dogbey earned a place on the Second Team All-Region VII. 

Dogbey led the Quakers offensively in 2022 with with eight goals and 19 points. The former Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Forward of the Year in the spring of 2021 took a team-high 31 shots with 47 percent of his shots being on target. He scored multiple goals against Defiance College and Mount St. Joseph University and was instrumental in leading Wilmington to a berth in the OAC Tournament title game for the first time since 2006.

The three-time All-OAC honoree earned First Team honors this season and was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. Wilmington finished its 2022 season with a 12-6-3 overall record and a 5-2-2 mark in OAC contests.
