
WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's soccer team has been picked to finish fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), as the league revealed its annual Preseason Coaches Poll on Friday morning.
Defending champion John Carroll University was picked as the conference favorite having gone unbeaten a season ago. Marietta College, which challenged the Blue Streaks in the OAC Tournament title game a year ago, received one first place vote and was picked second. Ohio Northern University and Wilmington rounded out the top four. The complete poll is below.

The Fightin' Quakers finished the unique 2021 spring season with a 7-3-1 overall record and a third-place finish in the OAC. Wilmington then hosted and won an OAC Tournament game, 2-1 over Capital, for the first time in over a decade before falling to Marietta in a penalty kick shootout in the semifinal contest.
Wilmington opens its 2021 fall campaign at Earlham College in the Quaker Bowl Rivalry game on Sept. 1.
