WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team (2-14, 0-8) hosts the Otterbein University Cardinals (7-7, 5-3) in the Quaker season finale this Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. Wilmington had their highest point total of the last six games but were unable to come away with the victory in their matchup against Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. Otterbein is playing well and is currently sporting a two game win streak, the Cardinals will try to head into the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament on a three game win streak.

The Coaches: Wilmington has new leadership in the form of Head Coach Garyck Todd. The 2016 WC alumnus was a four-year member of the program and was a part of the team's first winning season (9-7) in 2015. He previously served as the head coach at Pickerington Central High School for the past three seasons. Colin Hartnett began his 13th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Otterbein in 2021-22. The Cardinals have gone 111-80 under Hartnett since the school's first season in 2010, including three-straight trips to the NCAA Division III Championships (2013-15) and back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament titles in 2014 and 2015. His squad also earned the 2014 OAC regular-season championship, and made the title game in 2016.

The Players: Freshman goalkeeper Cody Everly broke the single season record for saves on Saturday and he will work to set the bar even higher in the season finale. Aiden Moore leads the Cardinals offense with 23 goals and 10 assists.
