Lang's Two Goals Not Enough in Men's Lacrosse's 28-4 Loss to Capital

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team took on Capital this evening. Wilmington lost in a lopsided contest 28-4. The Quakers will take on Muskingum Saturday, April 28 for Senior Day. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The first half Wilmington's offense played well scoring three out of the teams four goals in the game. Jhordan Lang scored twice and Andrew Miller added one. The Crusaders outscored the Quakers 20-3 in the first half.

Wilmington's offense was slowed down in the second half scoring just one goal. The Crusaders tacked on eight more goals and increased its lead to 28-4.

Lang recorded two goals, Miller netted one and Mike Smith added the fourth Quaker goal. Tanner Diment picked up nine ground balls and goalie, Jake Ladenforf recorded 14 saves on 55 shots faced.

Wilmington (4-9, 1-6) will host Muskingum on Saturday, April 28. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
