WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team is traveling to Capital University on Wednesday, April 25. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington is looking to bounce back after a loss against Otterbein last week. Capital is riding a three-game winning streak in the OAC with its last win coming against Heidelberg.

The Coaches: Jeff Arneson is in his first season as head coach of the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Arneson comes to Wilmington from a seven-year stint as a coach from Thiel College including six years as the head coach. While at Thiel, Coach Arneson took the team from a 2-12 record in his first year to a 10-5 record in 2015. In 2014, Arneson coached the Player of the Year in the President's Athletic Conference (PAC) while also winning coach of the year. In just his first year leading Capital University Men's Lacrosse, Dom Marzano helped the Crusaders return to the OAC Tournament Championship. Now in year two, Marzano looks to lead the Purple and White to unchartered territory following a successful introductory season. The Players: Wilmington is led by the trio of Jhordan Lang, Andrew Miller and Connor Judge offensively this year. Lang has scored 34 goals, while Miller and Judge have combined for 40 goals. Defensively, Tanner Diment and Zac Chucta have led the way for the Fightin' Quakers. Together, Diment and Chucta have totaled 119 and 62 ground balls respectively. Michael Aquaviva and Eric Wathen have caused 33 turnovers combined on the season. In goal for the Quakers, is Jake Ladendorf who has 163 saves on the season with a record of 3-8. Capital's offense is led by Brennan O'Callaghan with 53 goals. Cole Palmby has started all 13 games in goal for Capital and has totaled eight wins on the season with 113 saves.
