Men's Lacrosse Defeated by John Carroll 25-3

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team lost Saturday against John Carroll 25-3. The Quakers will host Heidelberg on Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m.

John Carroll came out quick in the first quarter scoring seven goals to Wilmington's two scores. The two Quaker goals came from Connor Judge and Tanner Diment. The second quarter was a similar outcome for the Fightin' Quakers allowing eight goals while only scoring one. The lone Quaker goal came from Jhordan Lang. At the end of the half, the Blue Streaks took a 15-1 lead.

Wilmington struggled to get anything going in the second half while John Carroll was able to score five goals in both the third and fourth quarters. The Blue Streaks finished the game with a 25-3 victory.

Wilmington was led offensively by the trio of Lang, Diment, and Judge, with scoring the three Wilmington goals. Goalie, Jake Ladendorf made 10 saves on the afternoon while Diment picked up seven ground balls and caused two turnovers,

Wilmington (3-7, 0-4) will continue conference play while hosting Heidelberg on Saturday, April 14. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
