Men's Lacrosse Drops OAC Game Against Ohio Northern

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team lost in the third OAC game of the year against Ohio Northern 22-4. The Quakers will travel to John Carroll on Saturday, April 7 at 1 p.m.

Ohio Northern came out firing on all cylinders early in the game during the first quarter. The Polar Bears went up 7-1 with the lone Wilmington goal coming from Jhordan Lang. The second quarter was a similar outcome for the Quakers allowing six more goals. The Polar Bears led 13-1 at the end of the half.

The fourth quarter was a highlight for the Quakers scoring three of the four total goals. Goals were scored by Lang, Mike Smith, and Connor Judge. Wilmington could not stop the Ohio Northern offense in the second half as the Polar Bears scored nine goals en route to a 22-4 victory.

Wilmington was led offensively, by Lang scoring two goals on 12 shots and Judge scoring one goal and one assist. Jake Ladendorf recorded 14 saves on the evening.

Wilmington (3-6, 0-3) will continue conference play at John Carroll University on Saturday, April 7. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
