Men's Lacrosse Hosts Adrian on Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team will host its home opening game against Adrian College on Saturday, March 17.  The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at Williams Stadium.

The Teams: Wilmington went 1-3 in its last four games all of which were played on the road.  The Quakers will be opening up at home against Adrian College and will be looking to get back in the win column. The Adrian Bulldogs have started off the season 0-3 and will be looking for its first win of the season against the Quakers.

The Coaches:  Jeff Arneson is in his first season as head coach of the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Arneson comes to Wilmington from a seven-year stint as a coach from Thiel College including six years as the head coach. While at Thiel, Coach Arneson took the team from a 2-12 record in his first year to a 10-5 record in 2015. In 2014, Arneson coached the Player of the Year in the President's Athletic Conference (PAC) while also winning coach of the year. Scott Morrison enters his fourth year at the helm of the Adrian College men's lacrosse program with the 2018 season. Morrison enters this season with a 17-28 record while coaching for Adrian.

The Players: Wilmington's offense is led by senior Jhordan Land with his 11 goals on the season and Connor Judge who has scored seven goals and assisted on three others. Defensively, Eric Wathen leads the team in caused turnovers with six. Jake Ladendorf is in goal for the Quakers and has 42 saves on the season. The Bulldog offense is paced by Michael Turner and Brayden Adrian who both have totaled five points on the season. Defensively, Michael Desmadryl leads Adrian causing a team-high, six turnovers on the year.
