Marzano resigns as men's lacrosse coach

Wilmington College Vice President for Athletic Administration/Director of Athletics Terry Rupert has announced the resignation of men's lacrosse coach Domenic Marzano, effectively immediately. (Monday, August 15, 2016).

Marzano resigns to take over as the head coach at Capital University.

"Domenic Marzano did a phenomenal job of building the men's lacrosse program," said Rupert. "We would like the thank Dom for his passion and dedication to Wilmington College and the lacrosse team."

The only head coach in school history, Marzano compiled a 25-35 record in his four years. Wilmington posted its only winning season, 9-8, in 2014.

A nationwide search for the next head coach at Wilmington will begin immediately.
