WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team closes out a home stand on Wednesday when Otterbein University comes to Hermann Court for a 7 p.m. Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. The Fightin' Quakers are 12-6 overall and 8-4 in OAC competition after a 75-72 victory over Heidelberg University on Saturday. The Cardinals are 6-13 on the season and carry a 3-9 conference mark after falling to rival Capital University 93-61 on Saturday evening.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 12th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Brian Oilar, formerly an assistant at DePauw University, is in his fourth season as Otterbein's head coach.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – DaeShawn Jackson, Kevin Lewis and Will Patrick – all score in double figures including Jackson at 16.1 points per game. Lewis, who scores 14.4 points per contest, leads Wilmington in rebounding at 5.5 boards per game and is second in the OAC in steals per game at 2.2. Will Patrick, who poured in a season-high 20 points in Wilmington's win over Heidelberg on Saturday, averages 12.3 points per game off the bench. Jay Joseph is Otterbein's leading scorer at 16.0 points per game while also leading the team in rebounding at 6.0 boards per contest. Maurice Beavers and Justin Carter also score in double figures for the Cardinals.

The Quakers have won the last 14 games in the matchup including a 104-75 thrashing of the Cardinals in Westerville earlier this season.
