WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's basketball team, riding a two-game winning streak, returns home on Wednesday for a date with Ohio Northern University (ONU). Tip-off from Fred Raizk Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern. The Fightin' Quakers are 7-9 overall and 3-7 in OAC play after a 93-83 victory at Heidelberg University on Saturday. The Polar Bears are 12-5 and 7-3 in conference after a 73-66 road victory at the University of Mount Union on Saturday.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt enters his 11th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Rich Bensman is in his sixth season at ONU including his second as head coach. The Polar Bears finished 16-10 last season under Bensman's watch.

The Players: Christian Jones, who has led all scorers the last two games including pouring in a career-high 32 points in a victory at Otterbein University, averages 19.0 points per game to lead the Quakers. Nathan Scott (14.1 points per game) and Will Patrick (11.1 points per game) also score in double figures. Andrew Russell leads the team in rebound at 4.1 points per game while D.J. Iles dishes out over three assists per game. Nate Burger and Ryan Bruns combine to score over 50 points per game and account for over 58 percent of the Polar Bears' offense. Bruns leads the squad in rebounding at 9.0 per contest.
