WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's basketball team looks for a second consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) victory when the Fightin' Quakers host the Blue Streaks of John Carroll University for a 3 p.m. contest on Saturday.

The Teams: Wilmington and John Carroll. The Quakers are 5-8 overall and recently notched their first OAC victory with a 91-87 win at Muskingum University on Wednesday. The Blue Streaks, ranked No. 23 in the most recent d3hoops.com Top 25 poll, are 12-2 overall and sit atop the OAC standings with a 6-1 record. John Carroll most recently handled Otterbein University 122-66.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt enters his 11th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Pete Moran, the son of former John Carroll head coach Mike Moran, is in his sixth season with the Blue Streak men's basketball program including his first has head coach.

The Players: Christian Jones leads Wilmington in scoring at 17.9 points per game while Will Patrick, who has turned in consecutive career-high performances, averages nearly a dozen points per game. Jones and D.J. Iles both dish out 2.8 assists per game while Andrew Russell grabs a team-high 3.6 boards per contest. John Carroll features four individuals who average double figures in scoring including Matthew Csuhran at 18.4 points per game and Antonio Vuyacih and John Cirillo at 13.4 points per game each.
