AUSTINTOWN – Senior forward Zach McCorkle was named honorable mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference by league coaches, the conference announced today (Monday, February 29, 2016).
"Zach had a great senior year," said Wilmington head coach K.C. Hunt. "His growth as a person and player in just a year and a half has been awesome; much deserved recognition."
McCorkle (Cincinnati, OH/Winton Woods) led the team with 14.2 points and 6.5 rebounds. He finished ninth in the league in rebounding and 11th in scoring. McCorkle started the season with a career-high 24 points and career-high 12 rebounds.
The forward reached double figures in scoring 19 times, including eclipsing the 20-point mark four times.
