@DubC_Football falls to Ohio Northern

ADA – The Wilmington College football team committed five turnovers Saturday in falling to Ohio Northern, 80-3, at Dial-Roberson Stadium in Ohio Athletic Conference action.

The Polar Bears scored 28 points in the first quarter and 21 in the second before senior Grant Brown (Stoutsville, OH/Amanda Clearcreek) drilled a career-long 45-yard field goal as the clock expired on the first half.

Ohio Northern tallied 21 points in the third quarter and 10 more in the fourth quarter to round out the scoring.

Junior Eric Flynn, Jr. (Cleveland, OH/Central Catholic) rushed for a career-high 132 yards on 21 carries to lead the Wilmington offense.

Junior quarterback Luke Creditt (Wilmington, OH/Waynesville) finished the game 8-for-21 for 59 yards and three interceptions. Sophomore Dylan Voltz (Mount Sterling, OH/Madison Plains) hauled in two passes for 40 yards.

Juniors Darren Milligan (Franklin, OH/Carlisle) and Terrance Narcisse-Murphy (Casselberry, FL/Lyman) each had eight tackles for the Fightin' Quakers. Freshman Bryan Gonzalez (Miami, FL/Jackson) added seven stops for Wilmington.

Wilmington (0-9 overall, 0-8 OAC) concludes the 2016 season, hosting Muskingum 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
