Dan Cleaver

Dan Cleaver concluded his sixth season as part of the Wilmington College baseball program in 2018 including his fourth as head coach.

In 2018, Cleaver directed the Fightin' Quakers to an 11-win season, marking the first time in a decade that Wilmington achieved the double-digit win plateau.

Cleaver has mentored six individuals to Honorable Mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors during his Wilmington tenure. Clay Cleaver (2015), Corey Walker (2016) and Joshua Chua (2017 and 2018) have earned Honorable Mention All-OAC recognition since Coach Cleaver was promoted to head coach prior to the 2015 season.

A 1997 WC grad, Cleaver brings several years of coaching experience at the high school and elite teams level, including a seven-year stint as varsity coach at Little Miami High School.

Cleaver and his wife Tania reside in Harlan Township. They have three children, including son Clay, a former member of the baseball program, and Jackie, currently travel coordinator.
