WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College baseball team faces off against Heidelberg Saturday in its final conference double header.

The Series: Two games will be played this Saturday with games beginning at 1 p.m. and the night cap starting at 4 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Heidelberg. The Fightin' Quakers look for its first 10 win season since 2008 as it is just 9-24 overall this season and 1-13 in the OAC (Ohio Athletic Conference) after a extra innings 12-6 loss to Wittenberg 12-6. Heidelberg is 20-13 overall and 7-7 in the OAC after a 9-1 loss to Denison this past Wednesday.

The Coaches: Dan Cleaver is in his sixth season with the Quakers baseball team including the previous four seasons have been as head coach. Chad Fitzgerald is in his fourth season as head coach and 11th year overall as a part of the Heidelberg baseball program.

Hitters to Watch: Nick Silvis, Luke Kleindl and Joshua Chua are all hitting above .300 on the season for the Fightin' Quakers. Chua leads the team in doubles (14) and RBIs (23) stolen bases (9) as well as runs scored (24). Kleindl is tied for a team high three home runs with 19 RBIs so far this season while Silvis leads the team with 40 hits. Infielder Evan Long is leading Heidelberg with 46 hits and 10 doubles. Hitting a .341 clip, Long has knocked in 29 runs and picked up 9 stolen bases thus far.

Pitchers to Watch: Joey Hollback, Jared Ferenchak and Lance Fleischman have all been key factors for the Quakers' pitching rotation. Hollback has struck out a team high 29 batters and has a 5.24 ERA through his team leading 44.2 innings pitched. Ferenchak is 2-5 this season and has a team leading 4.54 ERA through his 35.2 innings pitched. Fleischman has made 13 appearances for the Quakers this season and has picked up 17 strike outs as well as his 5.30 ERA through 35.2 innings pitched. Sophomore south paw Trevor Adkins is 3-0 this season through 11 appearances this season. Adkins has struck out a team high 57 hitters and has gathered a 2.65 ERA through his 54.1 innings pitched.

Series History: Heidelberg has gotten the best of the Fightin' Quakers as Wilmington is just 1-17 against the Student Princes since 2009.

Senior Day: Saturday's double header will be the last weekend home series for the career of five seniors - Daniel Hayes, Keith Hayes, Kyle Short, Tyler McDaniel and Joshua Chua. A brief ceremony will be held in between games.
