The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named men's soccer player Willie Winald as its Player of the Week, for the period ending September 3 2017.

Winald (Asa, Sweden/Elof Lindalv) had two of the team's three goals over the weekend at the Maryville Tournament. Of his four shots, three were on goal, and two scored. 

In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
