The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named men's track and field student-athlete Kalvin Butts as its Player of the Week, for the period ending March 4, 2018.
Butts threw a personal best of 18.33-meters in the weight throw to not only win first place at the ONU Last Chance Meet but also qualify for NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field National Championships.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight into the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
