The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named men's track and field student-athlete Pierce Burnam as its Player of the Week, for the period ending January 28, 2018.
Burnam led the team at the Jessica Starks meet by placing first in the 60m hurdles while also earning fourth-place in the 400m dash and fifth-place in the triple jump.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight into the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
