Wilmington College men's track & field senior Pierce Burnam earned All-American honors with a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on May 24-26.

Burnam once again broke his own school record with a time of 51.82 seconds. The top eight individuals earn All-American recognition.

Burnam is the 26th individual to earn outdoor All-American honors under Head Track & Field Coach Ron Combs. In addition, Burnam's performance is the 16th one to garner outdoor All-American honors for the Fightin' Quakers in the last 20 years. The New Richmond High School alumnus also holds the distinction of being the only Wilmington hurdler in the last two decades to earn All-American honors.
