The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named men's track and field member Antone Truss as its Player of the Week, for the period ending March 19, 2017.

Truss (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) competed in the high jump at the NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championship Meet and placed 12th. He cleared 1.97-meters- only missing All-American status (NCAA top-eight) by one attempt. 

In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
