The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named men's track and field athlete Kaner Butler as its Player of the Week, for the period ending February 19, 2017.
Butler (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) brought home a third-place finish in the triple jump (12.20m) and a fourth-place finish in the 500-meter dash (1:12.62) this weekend at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
