The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named men’s soccer player Nick Toney as its Player of the Week, for the period ending September 20, 2015.

Toney (Morrow, OH/Little Miami) scored two of Wilmington’s three goals in the Fightin’ Quakers’ 3-2 win over Defiance, including the equalizer with 35 seconds remaining in the game. His second goal sent the game into overtime.

In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
