Wilmington Natatorium

The Wilmington College Natatorium, located inside of Hermann Court, is home to the Fightin' Quakers' men's and women's swimming teams since both programs were elevated to varsity status prior to the 1998-99 season.

The six-lane pool holds 200,000 gallons of water and is 25 meters long. The facility uses a Daktronics electronic timing system for meets and practices. Spectator seating, which is elevated above the pool deck, has a capacity of 250.

The lift chair (pictured left) was created by Spectum Aquatics and installed in the summer of 2019. It replaces a 30-plus year old chair and makes the pool accessible for the WC and larger Clinton County communities.

The swimming team, though it's the main user of the natatorium, isn't the only group to utilize the pool. Faculty, staff and students at the College are also welcome to and do use the facility. Additionally, a group of seniors also comes for water aerobics, and has been for some time.
