AUSTIN, Texas -- Defensive lineman David Henry has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, as announced on Thursday. This is the senior's third time being chosen to the Academic All-District team.
Henry played a key role on the defensive line throughout his career at Wilmington. During his 2017 campaign, Henry totaled 53 tackles and 3 sacks.
The Wilmington native has 37 total starts, dating back to his freshman year in 2014.
To be eligible to be named Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA.
